I've gone to Reflections of You in Fair Lakes/Fairfax for a haircut last January. I'm going back this Saturday. I set up an appointment.

Normally it's $40 for a haircut. It's usually what I'm used to paying. I rarely have my hair colored, it's been a long time, but I would highlight it once in a while. I was in a ...lot of places. I've been to Raleigh, Atlanta, Ohio, and Colorado. Even Colorado is $40 per haircut and I've been going every month. $40 to me is pretty standard. It's very good. I'm very happy with the salon and my hairdresser.

Everyone was wonderful from my first phone contact through when I was done and left the salon. Candice did a wonderful job with my hair, it had not been cut or highlighted in months, so was a mess. She spent a great deal of time talking about what I want for my hair style and color options, upkeep commitment, etc. I was very happy with everything she did and am still receiving compliments on my hair two weeks later. I am definitely going to be a repeat customer. The salon was attractive and well done while still feeling comfortable and friendly. I never felt any pressure to do anything other than what I felt was best and there was no pressure to buy any products (although I did (their shampoo is fantastic) and those costs are not reflected in the approximate cost above). Highly recommend Reflections of You and Candice to everyone. My hair is fine, straight and flat and Candice did a wonderful highlight and cut, a style that I can manage easily and works for my lifestyle.

I was referred to Katelynn, who became my hair stylist 3 months ago. I was desperate to find someone who knew how to cut curly hair. She has surpassed my expectations! I drive 100 miles, round trip each month to visit ROY! It's worth the quality of products & service I receive!
Katelynn, who manages the salon, is extremely professional & considerate. She really knows her craft as well! With your first visit extra time is allowed to conduct an extensive evaluation to learn everything about your hair, your expectations, etc. Katelynn is a very good listener!
ROY salon is a different experience from your usual salons. They provide a smock for clients to wear. There are nice hangers in the bathroom for you to hang up your blouse. Clients are always offered a refreshment. The shampoo stations have chairs that massage you! 2 days before my appt. I always receive a call from them to confirm time & day of appt.
I've noticed things with Katelynn's customer service that I've never experienced with other stylists. Example-You know how the back of your neck & upper back may sometimes get wet after your hair is shampooed/rinsed? Well, once we get back to her station, Katelynn
changes out the outer smock, to a fresh, clean, dry one, before we continue on with the cut & style. Katelynn always offers me a magazine to read, refills on my beverage...She even cleans my eye glasses when they get goopy from the hair color.
This is a high end salon which uses quality products. I'm so happy that I can purchase high end hair products which are natural & free of solvents. The salon is very clean & pleasant. It would be so nice if every business could boast the same!

I've referred Katelynn Warren to many of my friends and now most of our neighborhood insists on seeing her. It's a fantastic Salon in a wonderful location.

I had to change hair stylists for a couple of reasons. One of the reasons was the poor quality of the last haircut I received from the previous stylist at another salon. I found Katelynn on Angie's List and gave her a try. She was delightful to work with, asked very clear questions, made suggestions, and also demonstrated that she understood what I was saying to her. She did make it clear, without saying a great deal, that the haircut I came in with was not working at all. She proceeded to cut my hair exactly the way I wanted so that it would lie the way I wanted as I was taking care of my hair myself between cuts. I have been totally happy with the quality of the style and truly appreciate the skill that Katelynn has and the mastery she has as a stylist. I've already made my next appointment. It was a very good experience.

Heather magically colors and cuts my hair like no other. Baby fine and straight there's not much I can do yet Heather will do her best to make me look and feel fabulous. Always on time, which is really appreciated.

I stopped by today to ask if they had anyone who would be able to do a good job with redheads. Good colorists for reds are hard to find. Brandon was recommended and came to meet me. We discussed what I wanted and he was able to take care of me on the spot. He really listened to what I wanted in both a color and a cut-- I havent had such a spot-on result in....years. I highly recommend him. Everyone else was very friendly and accommodating as well. The salon itself was comfortable. No one forced any products on me but casually pointed out a great sale I could (and did!) take advantage of. I am ecstatic to have found my new salon and stylist! I already booked my next appointment.

I was looking for a new hair stylist, seeking someone capable of properly cutting my curly and thin hair without spending a fortune. Katelynn took her time to consult/ perform a dry, layered cut on my hair which looked dry/ frizzy/ in poor shape that day. She also consulted about color, which I was only contemplating at the time. The receptionist staff was kind and welcoming on the phone and in person.

When I called, I was able to get an appt the same day to participate in a breast cancer awareness fundraising charity event. I think it's rare to find a business willing to donate an entire day's proceeds to a charitable cause, and still display a high level of customer service to engage a client. They added staffing from another location just for that day, and my stylist even donated her tip.
Katelynn was a pleasant person, the salon was clean and easy to locate. She knows how to handle curly hair, listens well to her client and is very willing to teach clients how to handle the troubles they are having. The business is so professional (and not pushy) that I received a follow-up postcard inviting me to return about 6 weeks later (Dec). Most places don't bother with details, and this place does.... down to offering staffers with smiles/ good personalities and top of the line tools for the stylists to utilize.
Although I didn't return during the holidays given travels, I do intend to return for my next cut.

Ms. Katelynn, my stylist, is awesome. I have curly hair so does she, so she knows how to cut and style so there is less frizz and is easier to work with. She helped me learn how to style it in the morning and explained things so I could understand.
