Wedding Up-DO's and DON'Ts
There are so many details that go into the planning of your wedding day, but the most important attribute to that day is YOU [the bride]. Trying to decipher your wants and needs regarding that special day can become a difficult process. It is with great pleasure that I present you with my personal Do's and Don'ts when it comes to your Wedding Day Hair Design.
[DO] book a FREE consultation to discuss your overall vision with your stylist. It is appropriate at this time to bring pictures and basic ideas of what you would like to incorporate for your wedding style. Your stylist should take this time to review the price range for your hair do. This appointment can be anytime from the moment you are engaged up until 4 weeks prior to your wedding date.
[DON'T] expect your hair to look exactly the same as a picture.
[DO] consider your hair type when selecting a style and ask for the opinion and recommendation of the professional.
[DON’T] attempt a new, drastic cut and/or color before your wedding. It is important that you feel like the most beautiful version of yourself on your wedding day.
[DO] Before you leave your consultation you should go ahead and book a Trial Up-Do Appointment (2-4 week prior to your wedding date) as well as your Bridal Up-Do Appointment along with any other Bridal Services you or your Bridal Party/ Family may be receiving prior to or on the day-of your wedding.
[DO] ask your hairstylist to help you purchase a Travel Size Surface Theory Hair Spray and to explain its proper uses. This product is great to hold your style in place all day long without feeling helmet-like.
[DO] enjoy yourself and your very special day.
