Ombré has taken over, but now it's time we play with the idea of what world renowned hair colorist, Beth Minardi, refers to as "lit from within". She tells us that the idea of using this technique is to create "a deeper root and highlights that look as if they have grown out from the scalp." The defenition of the word ombré is a visual transformation of color from light to dark. Ombré is everywhere from our hair, to our nails and even carried out in fashion through our wardrobe. This style has grown popular among celebrities and you can hardly find a magazine without some form of ombré featured on the front cover.
As a stylist at Reflections of You Salon in Fairfax, I have found that each guest wants me to create a customized version of ombré for them. Motion is a popular trending technique that creates
