Hairdressers have heard a lot of war stories when it comes to clients attempting to color their hair at home. Picking up a box of hair dye at a department store is a little cheaper than seeing a hairstylist, but as the saying goes: you get what you pay for. Home hair coloring isn't easy to do and here's why:
Finding the right color
The amount of options is overwhelming. The department store shelves are packed with all kinds of do-it-yourself hair color kits, all of which claim to make your hair red-carpet-worthy.
